Keith Kam I am curious, I have no hockey background growing up but I love the sport now. I was wondering how someone would get involved with the coaching side of the game. If anyone have more information, please let me know!

Anthony Bucci If your thinking Minor hockey you need a minimum Hybrid coaching course, Its a 2 day course through BC Hockey and you also need to do the Respect in Sport online 3 hour course, None of these courses will be avilable untill next Hockey season, everyone who has taken the Hybrid course has to hand in your post task book before March 31/2012

Keith Kam I was thinking about just assistant coach as well just to understand how it all works with an organized team. Thanks for all the pointers! Greatly appreciated. Any other direction would be awesome as well but I will start in those direction.

Anthony Bucci Head or Assistant coaching in minor hockey you need the courses I stated above, Im an Assistant for my sons team and was told I had to take the courses, The only way you dont need them is if you say your a Volunteer and with that you cant tell anyone what to do, Its a libility issue
